Executive Movement Reset: City Spirits

Tracks for movement, reflection, and clearer thinking

Executive Movement Reset: City Spirits is a free collection of music tracks by Lemke & Lemke for people who use movement to clear their thinking.

Each track carries a different city spirit: heaviness, fire, forward motion, care, flow, play, presence, focus or release. These are not levels, rankings or a training framework. They are musical companions for running, cycling, walking, gym sessions and reflective movement.

Choose the city spirit that matches what you are carrying today. Move with it. Notice what shifts.

Use the tracks for running, cycling, gym sessions, walking, or focused movement. Then use the reflection card or worksheet to ask:

Which spirit speaks the loudest to me right now... and what does this tell me?

This is not a therapy tool, medical advice, a fitness prescription, or a wellbeing claim. It is a practical reflection resource for you when you want to move your body, reset your mind, and return to work or life with a sharper mindset.

City Spirits in Motion:

This sequence is designed as a movement arc, not a ranking or framework. Start with focus, move through weight and intensity, find flow, choose direction, reconnect, release pressure, play, and finish with presence. You can also choose any city spirit that matches what you are carrying today.

Hamilton Morning Air — The Focus Spirit

This track is about commitment, focus, and self-mastery. It captures the moment when you choose to keep a promise to yourself: one more mile, one more climb, one more focused step. The mood is disciplined rather than aggressive.

Use it for: morning runs, cycling, warm-ups, steady training, goal-focused sessions, or any time you need to reconnect with follow-through.
Reflection question: What promise to myself am I ready to keep today?

Melbourne From Heavy to Moving — The Heavy Spirit

When everything feels heavy, numb, or stuck, the first step is not inspiration. It is movement. Melbourne carries the grey weight of slow beginnings, isolation, and the feeling that nothing is shifting. Through rhythm, road, breath and repetition, something begins to change.

Use it for: low-motivation starts, warm-ups, walking, cycling, gym sessions, or a reset after mental overload.
Reflection question: What feels heavy right now, and what is one small way I can move anyway?

Auckland Nothing but Heat — The Fire Spirit

Auckland carries heat, pressure, frustration and the drive to push back. This track turns intensity into speed and conflict into physical output. It is not a calm reflection track. It is a track for moving heat through the body before deciding what deserves your attention.

Use it for: sprint intervals, hill climbs, high-intensity cycling, treadmill pushes, or heavy gym sets.
Reflection question: What am I fighting right now, and is that fight helping me or costing me?

Hamilton Nothing to Prove — The Flow Spirit

Hamilton carries open-road ease, steady rhythm, space, and calm momentum. Set against the Waikato’s open roads, river curves, bridges, green spaces, and wide sky, it captures the feeling of moving without friction. There is no need to force, fight, rush, or prove. The rhythm is steady, spacious, and sustainable.

Use it for: steady-state cardio, cycling, running, rowing, long walks, or recovery movement.
Reflection question: Where am I still trying to prove something — and what would change if I trusted my own pace?

London Forward Motion — The Forward Spirit

For days when you are ready to stop carrying blame, reset your rhythm and choose the next step. London moves through damp streets, bridges and early light. It is a track for taking the wheel without turning the past into a fight.

Use it for: tempo running, steady cycling, rowing, elliptical work, or focused gym circuits.
Reflection question: What can I choose next, without carrying the whole past with me?

Berlin Soft Power — The Open-Heart Spirit

Berlin carries warmth, steadiness, connection, and strength that includes others. The drive is still active and physical, but it is no longer about proving, fighting, or pushing through alone. It is about moving with an open chest, a steady rhythm, and strength that includes others.

Use it for: steady running, cycling, walking, longer cardio sessions, group fitness, or reflective movement.
Reflection question: Where could I lead with more care without losing strength?

Auckland Momentum — The Release Spirit

This track is an after-work transition piece. It begins with pressure, frustration, and mental load, then turns that moment into rhythm, movement, and clarity. Use it when you need to leave the workday behind and shift from tension into momentum.

Use it for: after-work runs, cycling, gym sessions, hill climbs, resistance work, or any movement session where you want to clear mental static.
Reflection question: What pressure am I ready to move through rather than carry into the rest of my day?

Sydney Joy in Motion — The Play Spirit

Sydney carries joy, playfulness, shared light and speed without strain. The track captures the moment when movement stops feeling like effort and starts feeling like freedom.

Use it for: fast running, upbeat cycling, high-energy cardio, outdoor training, or a final push.
Reflection question: Where could I bring more play, lightness, and joy into how I lead or live?

Hamburg Limitless — The Presence Spirit

A powerful finish built around water, bridges, light and breath. Use it when you want spaciousness, completion and full attention to the moment.

Use it for: final pushes, peak running or cycling moments, powerful cardio, strong finish sessions, or completion rituals.
Reflection question: What becomes possible when I give this moment my full attention?

After your full workout, ask yourself:

“What is one decision that would become clearer if I stopped carrying everything at once?”
